What we use

Trading Monkey uses a minimal set of browser storage mechanisms — no third-party analytics, no ad-tech, no fingerprinting trackers.

Strictly necessary

• Authentication token (localStorage.user): keeps you logged in across reloads. Cleared on logout.
• 2FA challenge (sessionStorage): short-lived, used during 2FA step.

Functional preferences

• Theme: dark/light mode.
• Language: i18n locale (en / fr / es).
• UI state: dashboard widgets, last-opened tab, sidebar collapsed/expanded.

Performance / analytics

None. We do not load Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Sentry, or similar.

How to clear

Wipe everything via your browser's Site Data tools, or by logging out (clears the auth token). The Service does not work without the auth token, so blocking it will prevent login.
